LIBRA *STARSIGN OF THE MONTH*
I think that you are slowly coming to the conclusion that it’s time to leave a few things behind. Not the good, just the bad and the ugly — as the month progresses you get a much clearer picture of which is which. No, you don’t throw the baby out with the bath water, but that water does need refreshing, and you’re the one with the bucket. You can’t please everyone so don’t waste your time trying.
SCORPIO
I’d expect a rather lovely month, especially in family situations and affairs of the heart. Things seem to be falling nicely into place, you will not be unhappy at the response you get from other people when you put forward your thoughts and ideas. Anyone even remotely involved in animal welfare will be delighted at the outcome of one particular problem. This will also be a good month for taking up new pastimes and hobbies.
SAGITTARIUS
As my old Grandmother used to say — “if tha wants summat done proper, do it theesen.” In other words, you’re in the driving seat and it is you who must make the choices and decisions that matter — those which not only affect you, but those other people around you as well. This is not always an easy task, but it falls upon your shoulders now because there have been too many times in the past when you have evaded challenging issues. So, be brave. Lead and let’s see who follows.
CAPRICORN
You may have to make one or two minor sacrifices this month – and I’m not talking about wine, cigarettes or chocolate… Rather it’s a case of changing your mind about some of your opinions and attitudes, which you will have to do to maintain harmony and understanding in important relationships. No one is telling you that you are wrong, simply that you need to accept and respect the opinions of the important people in your life — even if they clash with your own.
AQUARIUS
There will be some involvement with legalities and bureaucracy this month, which isn’t a problem as such, it’ll just take up too much of your time when you want to be concentrating on other things. Emotionally you may find yourself playing piggy-in-the-middle as you become involved with other peoples’ problems –good luck with that one! Travel aspects look interesting especially if long haul journeys are in the wind. They might even lead to overseas reunions.
PISCES
Looks like you might be undertaking an important journey, while this might just be a holiday in sunny Spain, it could just as easily be a journey of self-discovery. Either way, it looks like being an exciting and stimulating month in which your problems are seen as challenges to be overcome. Your victories and triumphs will be well defined. If there are any problems facing you, you are successful in navigating your way around them, so well done!
ARIES
Communications are the key issue for October, especially between parents and children, but also within relationships. Don’t keep your feelings locked up inside, rather tell people what’s going on in your head and let them respond accordingly. Practical communications are also important, so it’s time to write letters and make phone calls, look up old friends, and maybe heal a few old wounds. Unfair bills need to be challenged.
TAURUS
There will be the culmination of a long-standing ambition which should bring great pride and satisfaction. There is an increase in energy levels, both physical and mental, and although it might be quite an expensive month in many ways, you should be getting more than your money’s worth. There’ll also be some moodiness in a close emotional relationship, not of your making, so not for you to sort out — you must not let this slight negative spoil the positives.
GEMINI
I think that whatever else might be happening in October, the conduct of an emotional relationship is probably of the greatest importance. So, gentlemen, time to be tough and strong and to lead by example, while female Gemini need to be on their guard against a man who is unwilling or unable to make compromises. I know this sounds like a contradiction, but Gemini girls are one thing while Gemini guys are another.
CANCER
It’s no good having brilliant ideas if you haven’t got the time or the inclination for putting them into action and making them work. You may be great at talking the talk, but how good are you at walking the walk? October could be a bit of a leveller as you find the answer to that particular question. On a more parochial level, a secret is revealed, a confidence breached, an old friend lost, and a new friend found.
LEO
This looks like being a rather “cosy” month when you start to find more enjoyment out of the simple things in life. Certainly, all domestic issues are very much at the forefront of your thinking, and this could be a lovely month for cementing important new relationships. After some of the turbulence you have experienced in your history, this might take a bit of getting used to, but go with the flow of it, enjoy it, but do not take it for granted.
VIRGO
Smug? Self-satisfied? Very pleased with yourself? No, no, I’m not saying those things at all, but that IS the way you’re going to be feeling throughout the better part of the month, and probably with very good cause. Relationships are where you need them to be right now, you’re being productive and successful on the work scene, and you seem to be enjoying a greater degree of respect and popularity… So what could possibly go wrong?
