21ST MAR – 19TH APR
The bad news is that you’re going to have to fight to remain positive in these confusing times. Still, the good news is that more than some of your astrological cousins, you are going to be quite successful in this quest. In more ways than you may be aware of, it will act as an inspiration for other people. It looks like Covid restrictions will be eased by the spring, and as such, late March, April and early May is an excellent time for travel opportunities, especially in connection with family reunions. Finances are relatively sound throughout the year, providing you resist the temptation to splash out on very expensive luxury items that you might want, but do not really need. As the year progresses, you’re likely to find yourself drawn into a number of political situations, especially if you have any kind of point of view which might be controversial. Young romances bloom in the summer while established relationships progress without any hiccups. The summer is also a time for taking on new work responsibilities which bring more pleasure than profit. These trends more or less continue throughout the rest of the year, but watch out for some red tape and bureaucracy slowing you down late October and early November. Christmas 2021 will be the total opposite of what you’ve just experienced at the end of 2020.
TAURUS
20TH APR – 20TH MAY
An interesting year with some highs and lows – but it seems to me that the highs are going to be a lot higher than the lows are likely to be low. Some sort of medical situation will need attention in the spring, but you will welcome this as it will improve the quality of life no end. Starting in the first quarter of the year, then continuing throughout, there is a new mood of industry and enthusiasm working with you: it’s a time for getting things done! Old projects are tidied up, and new projects are undertaken with a disproportionate degree of success. Anything to do with the arts in any form is fertile ground for your creativity and imagination and should bring you to the attention of others and create some peer recognition. Finances are not fantastic, but you’ll struggle through without too many problems, perhaps with the exception of September which may necessitate some significant cash outlay. I dare say you’ll be making some important decisions on this subject long before the actual event. It’s a year for making a couple of influential new friends or business associates, and there is a solid bedrock of security in established emotional relationships.
GEMINI
21ST MAY – 20TH JUN
I don’t think there are going to be too many surprises in 2021, but in certain areas of your life, there are going to be some ongoing challenges. One will revolve around your involvement with the ending of someone else’s long-standing relationship, and on more than one occasion you’ll have to act as a marriage guidance counsellor and play the role of the devil’s advocate. Another ongoing situation will be relevant to someone else’s health problems, and while you will be totally sympathetic, it is a process which may drain your physical and emotional reserves. Perhaps you need to monitor your own energy levels and realise that you cannot be in two places at once and cannot be all things to all people. I do not think that there are likely to be any financial threats, but this is not the time to lend anyone any money, and you must resist the temptation to act as ‘The Bank of Mum & Dad.’ Probably a tough early quarter of the year, with some relaxation in the second and third quarters, but a sequence of challenges are likely to obstruct your pathway forwards in October, November and December. At this time exercise caution, refrain from being impulsive, and at the risk of alienating others, make a point of being just a bit more selfish.

21ST JUN – 22ND JUL
I get the distinct feeling that 2021 will not be a calm or tranquil year for the vast majority of Cancerians. There is an imperative which says “I’ve got to be me” and you will pursue this quest with dogged determination. You’ll not go out of your way to upset other people, but if they put their toes beneath your marching feet, the way you see it, that will be their problem, not yours. A lot of stuff – old stuff which has been suppressed for years – is now likely to come bubbling to the surface. You will be surprised by the depth of your own emotions. This trend leads to shake-ups and possibly even break-ups in stale relationships, or if nothing else, a major overhaul in the way in which relationships are conducted. There is likely to be some friction in parent/child relationships as well… and yet at the end of the day, people will gradually come to understand that you are the person that you are and not the person they expect you to be, need you to be, or want you to be. Inevitably the chaff will be sorted from the corn, a few friendships may fall by the wayside, but your thirst for recognition and freedom will begin to be quenched.

The early part of the year will be dominated by emotional issues as you sort out what you want from, and where you’re going with relationships in general, and especially one key emotional relationship in particular. Either it’s on, or it’s off, and if you can’t make up your mind, someone else will make the decision for you, and it will be off. Perhaps this will be a relief, or maybe it will be a tragedy, but the bottom line here is that it is up to you! Around the advent of April, your attention becomes more focused on jobs and money, and here again, there is a decision to be made. Do you carry on along an established pathway or do you come to realise that you’ve travelled as far as you can along that pathway, and jump ship in favour of something different and new? You’re not a fool. You know the value of money, but perhaps this is a time when you should not allow finance to dominate your thoughts and ambitions, and concentrate instead of doing whatever is going to bring you the greatest pleasure and satisfaction. You’ll probably be rolling the dice in your hands during the summer then finally throw the dice down on the table in the early autumn, therefore while the spring is the key period for relationships, autumn is the key period for jobs and careers.
VIRGO
23RD AUG – 22ND SEPT
While January could be seen as a month of preparation, February is a month of action, and even if those actions are a bit stop-and-start sluggish, you’ll taste the sweet smell of success on the wind, and by the spring of the year, you should be on a bit of a roll. January and February are expensive months, wherein you’ll be speculating with your money, but you get clear evidence from the month of May onwards that your money has been well spent. There is a growing bubble of enthusiasm building within you throughout the year which provides you with impetus and energy. Furthermore, it does a lot to improve the quality of emotional relationships. Travel aspects look very good, but not until much later in the year: apart from one week in August, the main thrust of travel opportunities centres around the mid-winter of 2021/22. By the autumn, you’ll be relieved to see that losses sustained through the Covid crisis are now being recouped – albeit not all at once. Nevertheless, the trends are extremely reassuring.
LIBRA
23RD SEPT – 22ND OCT
It seems to me that the first part of the New Year will be spent tidying up situations hanging over from 2020: I think you will be successful in this, but you do need to remember that you cannot make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. By the beginning of March you should have clearer eyes and some fresh perspective, and whatever life throws at you, you’ll be in a much better position to deal with it. Younger Librans may have their work cut out keeping suitors at a safe distance ( hey lucky you ) while more mature members of the sign will probably welcome some of the romantic overtures which are being directed towards them. I am thinking of females here, but this does not entirely exclude the men. On the subject of money, while I wouldn’t want to call it critical, the first half of the year will see you having to be a bit careful with your cash, but there is a “trickle” of improvement by mid-summer, turning into a more reliable little stream by the autumn.
SCORPIO
23RD OCT – 21ST NOV
The first quarter of the year will be dominated by finances and cash flow. There isn’t much leeway here, but some of you will be cushioned by that which a partner provides. By April or May there should be some noticeable improvement in this situation, but I don’t think there’ll be any free lunches, and whatever comes your way doesn’t come by luck, rather it comes by effort and hard work. June and July are important months for romance and affairs of the heart. As you are increasingly able to put your past behind you, doors of new opportunity open up which will provide sunshine and laughter (even if it’s the wettest summer on record!) Indirectly this will lead some of you into thinking about changes of address – maybe not in the immediate future, but, say, within the next couple of years. This is an exciting prospect that does not need to be rushed, but if nothing else you can enjoy thinking about it. Travel is a distinct possibility around August, but keeping this in perspective, it could just be a well deserved and long overdue holiday.
SAGITTARIUS

Possibly a bit of a messy start to the New Year, caused by other peoples’ plans and priorities. There are going to be a few times when you feel a bit “left out” of things, and it is important that you do not over-react to this situation. It’s just that other people are going to be very excited about what they’re doing, and will assume that you know and understand what they’re thinking and feeling. Probably some good “money” news in January or February, and I would guess quite a bit of travelling about during the mid and late summer… Don’t sense or see any “crossings of water” so we’re probably talking about journeys local to the UK. Emotional relationships with partners and spouses seem calm enough of the surface, and if a few resentments are niggling away beneath the surface, do whatever you can to keep them there. This is not a good time for airing grievances or for being overly critical.
CAPRICORN
22ND DEC- 19TH JAN
A productive, if predictable start to the New Year, with perhaps an important and most welcome family reunion before the end of the month. Measure your energy levels because as you move through February towards March and the early spring, work pressures are likely to increase, and you could find yourself working some extra long hours. There is some financial reward for your efforts, but this is not likely to fall into place until June or July. Work routines may be disrupted slightly around the beginning of May, caused by a family member’s health situation – or it could even be you if you don’t learn to pace yourself and avoid any kind of stressful situations! Financial restrictions in the early half of the year are eased from July or August onwards, but you must exercise some self-discipline where spending is concerned. Keep budgets under control, and you should be okay. Some nice energies are coalescing in affairs of the heart, but rather than talking about “romance” it’s more a case of caring and sharing, trusting rather than lusting, and becoming aware of mutual needs.
AQUARIUS
20TH JAN- 18TH FEB
A good start to the year on many different fronts: clarity and confidence are found in all business and career aspects, there is a deep sense of family harmony prevailing, especially in connection with grown-up children, and a few new health regimes give you a greater degree of physical energy. Having said that, Aquarian males over 50 should be mindful of their knees and lower legs. With a few inevitable troughs, this trend carries on throughout most of the year ahead, and you’ll find your long term view getting brighter almost by the month. There could, unfortunately, be some unfortunate news during the early summer, concerning someone’s health or their ultimate departure from this world, but one has to be realistic and remember than in life, etc. etc. One does not wish to be mercenary about this, but from a financial point of view, there is that old saying about every cloud having a silver lining. Some recurring travel patterns during the summer months, more to do with work than vacations, but still probably very enjoyable.

I’m not saying that money is the most important thing in your life, but it seems to me that the accent throughout this year of 2021 will be on the business of making money, using it, saving it, investing it, and above all, acquiring as much more of it as you can get. In this quest, I think you’re going to be very successful, and you look like you’re going to go from strength to strength as the year progresses. This does not mean that family, friends, lovers, partners, will not be important, it’s just you’re your priorities and focus will frequently be elsewhere. Okay, this might not make you Mr. or Mrs. Popularity with everyone you know, but no one will be able to accuse you of being lazy or docile, and there is some respect to be earned here. With the advent of the autumn, it looks as though you might be going on a bit of a spending spree… new clothes, new image, new car, or whatever, and this is reassuring, because you’re not a plastic bender, and if you’re spending it, it must be assumed that you’ve got it to spend!
