What do the stars have in store for you this month?
Quite an exciting month on the work scene as you work towards specific dates and targets in the short and mid-term future. You’re on course and you’re satisfied in knowing that you’re “getting there”! Social life is a bit flat, but on the plus side there should be no shortage of harmony in your love life. Partners seek to please – so please ‘em right back! This doesn’t mean you must capitulate to their every whim and demand (and they may well be a bit demanding during the first week of the month!) but reasonable arguments and gentle conversations go a long way to sorting out problems.
Despite this positive emotional outlook, beneath the surface of domestic harmony there is a small knot of tension caused by expectations. This is probably is going to affect the gentlemen of the sign more than their female counterparts. Wives and girlfriends do have certain plans and expectations of their men, but the men, thinking this is a bit unbalanced and unfair, have a few plans and expectations of their own. These issues need to be brought out into the open and talked about, but as I say, reasonably and gently.
Some important decisions get made around the 24th, 25th or 26th but which can’t be made until you’ve had those conversations I’ve just been talking about. An unexpected bill and maybe a claim on an insurance policy looks probably during the very late days of March. You may choose to put DIY and home improvement schemes on hold for a while, and those looking for quick property sales may have to be patient for a little while yet.
With the advent of the early spring there is a lightening and brightening of your moods and a burst of enthusiasm for all things artistic and creative. Maybe more money going out than there is coming in, but with advance planning you will have budgeted for this, so no huge crises or dramas. Partnerships and relationships relatively stable and predictable but to be quite candid, not a lot of old fashioned excitement in the wind. With your chequered history, perhaps this is a good thing?
Good news during the first week in connection with “tests” – these could be entrance exams, driving tests, even medical tests. Either way it takes a niggle of concern off your shoulders. The 18th, 19th and 20th could be a bit of a moody period, especially if you find yourself being reminded of hurtful events from your history, but this is an emotional hiccup rather than a bad cough, and it will pass swiftly enough. The 25th and indeed the latter days of the month would be a good time to be pro-active in contacting old friends and maybe arranging a few long overdue reunions. Don’t wait for the mountain to come to you… Far better if you go to the mountain!
March could be quite a tricky month when it comes to businesses and careers. Think things through very carefully and avoid the temptation to be impulsive. You can’t achieve very much without having other people on your side, so do whatever you can to avoid friction and alienation. Tact, patience and diplomacy are your strongest allies at this time.
If the ground seems to be moving beneath your feet, enjoy the sensation. Situations are changing in your favour and there are some exciting moves afoot. Anything to do with property is very well starred, and there is an energy of money changing hands, very much to your advantage. Other people around you share in this mood of excitement.
Career minded members of the sign should have a successful March, especially those involved in modern industries like IT, media and communications. Slightly less well starred are aspects concerned with retail and all forms of sales… But even here, profits and progress can be made providing you can teach your old dog a few new tricks. It’s fine to carry on what you are doing, but you need to do it differently. Older members of the sign could benefit from listening to the advice offered by younger people around them, especially members of family.
As far as romance and relationships are concerned, March should be a very hopeful month. New relationships become more intense, established unions become a bit more invigorating, and those who are not in any kind of relationship at the beginning of the month might find that the situation has changed by the end of the month! While some couples may celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, other (much) younger members of the sign may find themselves on the receiving end of their first proper kiss.
Throughout March you get a clearer vision of your mid and long term future, and knowing what you’ve got to do and when you’ve got to do it gives you a boost of clarity and confidence. Do not expect 100% co-operation from friends and family, but still make a point of marching to the beat of your own drum and trust in your own judgement. This may be easier said than done for middle aged Cancerians who have slipped into the habit of appeasement and over-compromise.
As far as younger female members of the sign are concerned, there is a rather predatory mood prevailing throughout March, and God help the man who gets in their way. Younger males need to stand up for their rights and to have a mind, and priorities, of their own, doing anything they can to fight back against anything which smacks of emasculation.
Cancerian parents are likely to clash with their kids on matters of principle, and frankly I don’t see you winning much ground on this one, especially if you’re dealing with troublesome teens. Any health issues are probably going to be related to stress or to diet, or indeed a combination of both. There is an argument in favour of a more simple lifestyle – but good luck with that one!
Despite the spring time sunshine this could be something of a low key month as you wrestle with a number of ongoing problems, mostly, but not entirely, associated with complicated emotional relationships. The way out of this quagmire is to be brutally honest, (a) with other people, and (b) with yourself. You can have the apple or the pear, but you can’t have both. The way I see it, you only have so much time in which to make your choices – a couple of months at most – before other people make their decisions and those choices are taken out of your hands. I suppose that in some ways, this might be the easiest option for you insofar as it absolves you of all responsibility, and if things go wrong for you, you can always blame it on other people. Be warned though, that while you might be fooling yourself, you won’t be fooling anybody else.
On a rather more positive note, you’ll be feeling a bit more optimistic about financial matters (especially the gentlemen of the sign) and travel aspects tie in with job prospects and business deals. There are no sudden career short-cuts, but you will feel a subtle shift in energy that enables you to take a longer term view of your financial future. Anyone flirting with the property market has probably chosen their time well, but if there are moves afoot (even if they are only in the planning stage) these are not likely to be local moves. To add some spice and mystery to the mix, overseas links should be strengthening throughout this spring time period.
The biggest problem you’re likely to encounter this month is tiredness, possibly caused by interrupted sleep patterns and compounded by overwork. On the plus side, finances should be quite sound, but this doesn’t do you much good if you’re too knackered to enjoy spending what you’ve got. Take a step backwards. Take up yoga. Learn to relax!
Travel aspects are strong in March, but rather than luxurious holiday breaks in exotic places, it’s more likely to be awkward commutes in heavy traffic, and if you do a lot of driving in your weekly life, the hours spent behind the wheel are likely to become both very tiring and frustrating.
Lovers and partners become annoying when they keep harping on about something you have done which you shouldn’t have done, or something you have not done which they think you ought to have done. This one isn’t going to go away, so one way or another you’re going to have to nip it in the bud… even if it risks a rift and an argument. Potentially this could be quite a romantic month, but before this energy can come through, certain issues do have to be resolved.
There is a kind of subliminal twisty-knotty situation playing on your mind in connection with an old relationship. There are no new embers being fanned into life here and nor are there any awkward reunions, but you do become aware of the fact that a certain aspect of your history, even your distant history, is rather like a book minus the last chapter, and some of you are going to feel the need to pick up the pen and write the bloody thing.
There is a vibrancy of romantic and sexual excitement for younger members of the sign, but those slogging through their 40’s and middle years may have to monitor their energy levels and avoid all-night parties. This is especially true for career orientated males who seek to hit financial targets rather than reap the joys of romantic harvests. Nevertheless there is a vibe (God, I hate that flaming word) of coming into contact with new people, some of whom you are going to find both attractive and entertaining. This coincides with an increase in all levels of social activity and a mood of dangerous impulsiveness.
The 5th, 6th and 7th are key dates for marking important dates in your diary, and even as you do this you’ll be wondering if you can manage to be in two or three places at the same time. The 18th, 19th and 20th are memorable dates for parties and celebrations, and there is a good chance that it is at this time you’ll commit yourself to something which you might later regret, then have the devil’s own job of wriggling out of.
All Librans are going to be spending more money they can afford on stuff which boosts their ego and self-esteem, and without wishing to sound sexist, I find myself thinking in particular of females under the age of 30 and gentlemen in their late 40s and 50s. The guys are at greater financial risk here, because while the girls might be satisfied with a new hair style or party dress, the men have their eyes focused on much more expensive targets. The “I want it and I’m going to have it” energy is incredibly strong across the board.
Some emotional tension as you struggle to keep things secret when the impulse is pressurising you to let it all hang out – and damn the consequences. If I were you I’d exercise some self-discipline and button the lip until you know how other people might react to your revelations of desire. Words once uttered cannot be easily retracted and this is one of those periods in which are people are going to be listening very carefully to what you say and hold you to account if you don’t back them up with actions. With this in mind, be very careful with your commitments and promises!
Although finances may be under some strain (sorry, your own fault) this is still a propitious month for jobs and careers and on more than one occasion you’ll become aware of some interesting new openings and opportunities. March 17th is an important date in question, followed by a three day period later in the month on the 26th, 27th and 28th. If anyone is offering you something new, I’d be inclined to grab it eagerly with both hands because you will have everything to gain and nothing much to lose.
Throughout the whole of March you’ll be thinking about emotional relationships, and in particular, the degree of commitment needed to keep them going, or indeed, the degree of commitment needed to get something started. The “commitment” thing is a two way street, and if you’re not aware of this at the beginning of the month, I’ll bet you five bob against a tanner that you will be by month’s end.
Sagittarians work on two levels throughout March, and what is being “said” does not always represent what is being “thought”. There is some advantage in playing your cards close to your chest, keeping your innermost thoughts secret – at least for the time being. You are not feeling very secure, so you need to concentrate on building stronger foundations. This is applicable both on a social level (maybe you need to get out more and broaden your circle of friends) and it is also relevant to jobs and careers. If you’re feeling overworked and underpaid it might be time to contemplate a change of direction, especially if someone presents you with a carrot-dangling proposition around the 18th–21st.
Sagittarian parents of young children will realise that there is some advantage in laying down the law a bit and redefining borders and boundaries of behaviour. Those with older off-spring (in their teens and older) will come to the conclusion that it’s all a bit too late for that, but should be able to enjoy some pride and satisfaction (along with a few dollops of frustration) in the achievements of their children. There is an interesting paradox here insofar as parents are either a bit fed up because they’re not seeing enough of their kids, or they’re fed up because they’re seeing far too much of them!
Towards the very end of the month you are likely to become a bit concerned with niggling health situations. Tall and lanky Sagittarians are prone to back problems. Short and fat members of the sign need to change their diets to alleviate tummy problems, and all Sagittarians would benefit from having their eyes tested – especially if they can’t see something which is glaringly obvious to everyone else.
You settle nicely into new work routines and any job problems seem to be caused by technical glitches rather than anything more serious. Finances probably come under some pressure, so March is not the best month to go on expensive spending sprees. Possibly some disagreement within emotional relationships concerning financial priorities, but don’t get too stressed about this (a) because despite what you might think, lovers and partners have got your back and (b) because as part of a process of recent changes to work routines, there are even more on the way, which promise to put more pennies in the pot quite soon. Anything to do with training courses and the acquisition of new skills and credentials is high on the cards.
On the social scene one particular date stands out which is March 16th and although on the face of it this could just be a birthday party or something similar, I think this date could have (or might yet come to have) some more important significance. March 20th 21st and 22nd is also a period in which who you know can be as important as what you can do, and the word “networking” has some unusual vibrancy about it.
As the month progresses you should be pleased at the way in which you are able to absorb and acquire new skills, and to reinforce my earlier comments, anything and everything to do with new knowledge and learning curves seems to be extremely relevant.
Who you know and being in the right place at the right time may be more important than any professional skills you might have, so recognise this fact and do all you can to capitalise on it. Probably a high degree of frustration on the work scene, and although spouses and partners might be supportive, you end up feeling that they still don’t quite “get it”! So maybe you need to tell them! The longer you leave this, the more bad tempered and aggressive you are likely to become.
What really gets to you is the fact that you work damned hard for your money, but then see it getting spent on things which are really not that important to you, and when you protest, even ever so slightly, everyone starts having a go at you. There may well be “trouble ahead” but please avoid this if you can by doing something to clear the air and getting your angst out into the open. Much to your surprise, those people close to you, even those who occasionally give you such a hard time, may well be able to come up with some kind of solution.
On an upbeat note, there are a number of distractions in the form of some exciting travel plans, family reunions, social invitations to parties and weddings etc., but this is only a superficial salve to your deeper levels of discontent. Start sorting those situations out then you really will start to get a lot more out of the distractions!
If you pause for a moment and do a reality check, you will come to the conclusion that you have travelled a long way in the last dozen months or so. Certainly, things might not be exactly the way you want them to be, but you have made a lot of progress, and the future vista should be looking significantly different now to the way it looked back in March of 2019. Furthermore, while it is true that you still might be facing some life changing decisions, you are in a stronger position to make them and there is the awareness that things have shifted and that time is now on your side. So, with this last point in mind, bide your time and don’t be in too much of a rush. You can hit your goals and targets, you can achieve what you want to achieve, but not in the space of a few weeks and certainly not all at once.
March 15th, 16th and 19th should be significant dates for reunions and celebrations. You will enjoy the celebrations but those reunions may be something of a double-edged sword. The last week of the month may be something of a reflective period as you look back over the years gone by, but nevertheless you will be encouraged by your experiences and achievements, which gives birth to greater determination to define the pathway of your own future, both the mid-term and the long-term. Social invitations between the 27th and 29th should be accepted, even if you are not brimming over with immediate enthusiasm. These invitations bring you into contact with influential people who can be useful in the time ahead. Particularly watch out for links with the star signs of Taurus and Cancer.
