Free Family events! For York Environment Festival

To celebrate York Environment Festival, York Steiner School is running a series of free events for families to enjoy. All of the events are shaped to support families and children build their connection to the natural world through play, story, song and food.

Saturday 3rd October – Parenting through a connection to the natural world 10am – 12:30pm

We invite families with children aged 3-7 years old to join us for a day of exploring our connection to the natural world, in our kindergarten classrooms and garden.

Participants can enjoy traditional crafts, bread making, carding wool, apple pressing, jam making and sewing. In our garden families will be invited to make chappatis on the fire.

Resources will be available for families to continue supporting a connection to cycles of the season in the natural world.
