Take a bit of Beningbrough home

Once a year, Beningbrough Hall holds a popular plant sale providing the perfect opportunity to buy plants propagated by the National Trust gardening team.

This year’s sale will take place at Beningbrough Hall, Gallery and Gardens on the 12th and 13th May, from 10.30am – 5pm, and for those of you who love gardening or are looking for the perfect present; this event is not to be missed.

Plants are sold in the Stables Shop all year round, but this sale offers the opportunity for discerning gardeners to buy something special that the team has cared for over the winter months in the nursery. Members of the gardening team will be on hand to discuss how to look after your plants or answer any specific garden questions you may have.

Whilst you’re visiting, make sure you wander through the wonderful gardens and parkland for inspiration now they’ve come into life for spring. The new Pergola is starting to take shape following the recent planting of the white wisteria, shrubs and box hedges. The blossom and magnolia are out in all their glory and the bluebells are looking spectacular carpeting the Pike Ponds in the parkland.

Open this weekend, 10.30am – 5pm, normal admission charges apply to access the plant sale. Visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/beningbrough for full details.
