What do the stars have in store for you this month?
It might be the beginning of winter but there’s the scent of springtime in your heart! For some this could represent some new life in affairs of the heart, while for others it will represent being able to look forwards and knowing that long laid plans and moving towards fruition. There is an overall mood of confidence and you’re optimistic about the future.
While not particularly exciting, work routines chug along steadily and bring a feeling of quiet satisfaction. You can see with much greater clarity where you’ve come from, where you are, and much more importantly, where you are going. In connection with this line of thought, you’ll be considering aspects of your long term financial security and will be making a few long term plans and projections which guarantee your future solvency.
There is a curious energy where romances and affairs of the heart are concerned… A partner (or potential partner) is saying some interesting things, but you’ll be hard pressed to know to what extent they might just be teasing you or winding you up. If this becomes an issue, may I suggest you sit ‘em down, and tell them t be straight with you. That way, if necessary, you can put them right.
An Old Bogey Man raises his head in November as once again you find yourself grappling with finances, and inevitably robbing Peter to pay Paul. There has to be some severe belt-tightening at this time, because a little pain now will be better than a far greater pain a bit later on. Tension in domestic situations will be caused by financial pressures.
Having said all that, if we take one step backwards, you are in a stronger financial position today than has been the case many times in your history. Okay, so future visions and needs may be different today than they were back then, but the fact remains that you do have some financial reserves. What concerns you most is the ongoing erosion of those reserves, and a partner’s unwillingness or inability to recognise the potential danger of this situation. As such, you’re probably worrying more about them than you are about yourself. You have experienced life on the edge of a knife, while they have not!
With regard to jobs and careers, November will be a busy month, and probably quite rewarding; sadly, that reward comes from job satisfaction rather than hard cash. You know that there can be financial gain in the future, but before that you’re going to have to speculate to accumulate, and right now you’re worrying about where that speculation investment is going to come from.
Some frustration and even an element of anger in relationships with in-laws! You may be disappointed, perhaps even fuming, but the best way to handle this is to back off, create some space, and stay calm and detached. Having said that, a firm but quiet word in someone’s ear might just be enough to bring some change to this awkward situation.
On a positive note November will be a good month for starting a process which will begin to right a few old wrongs, and if there are any legal dealings or involvements with beurocracy, I suspect they will work in your favour. If this puts someone else’s nose out of joint, well kiddo, I reckon they’ve asked for it!
Younger children will surprise you by their resilience and determination, and you could do worse than to take a leaf out of their books. Education may be of significance to some parents, and here again, listen to what your kids are telling you. One way or the other, they will show you the path forwards.
Where jobs are careers are concerned, I would expect November to be a rather quiet uneventful month, and maybe we can all say “Thank God for that!”
The moods inherent to October carry on over into November, but now you will start feeling more empowered to tidy up your life and get rid of the rubbish. This generates a new spark of freedom and independence, which might not go down all that well with other folk around you, but you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you’re heading in the right direction. To be sure, other people will tell you that it’s the “wrong” direction, which it probably is from their own selfish point of view, but thankfully, I think you know what is in your own best interests.
Overseas travel aspects may be relevant for some of you, while others just get as far as thinking about or planning future journeys. If not right now, journeys around the Christmas period look highly likely. This opportunity should be welcomed as it will do a lot to alleviate a subtle mood of growing tension within emotional relationships. If you’re singing that old Cliff Richard song “we don’t talk any more” then now is the time to do something about it.
Important letters, papers and documents, probably of a formal nature, arrive in the post. Watch for this between the 15th and 21st. Do not put them to one side, rather, deal with them straight away. It is in your best interests to do this, rather than dithering and letting things hang.
Some very positive vibes connected with levels of self-confidence and self-determination, and other people will be more or less content to follow your lead… So get leading! Some of you will be thinking about property deals and possible house moves, while others will be contemplating out of season holidays and winter journeys. Journeys with point and purpose! Where you go may be important, but not nearly as important as who you go with.
On the financial front, November is a good month for buying and selling, and there should be some worthwhile profits in this process, providing you can be persuaded to get rid of some things you’d rather hang on to. There may be some sentiment in this, so you’re faced with a choice. Sentiment or profit? Me, well I’d go for sentiment, but you’re a Leo, so you’ll probably end up going for the profit!
Romantic aspects are also quite favourable, but while affairs of the heart dominate much of your thinking and emotional responses at this time, keep one foot on the ground and do not allow the heart to rule the head. You may be cajoled into making a rash promise towards the end of the month, but perhaps you need to think twice before giving our word to anything you’re not 100% sure about.
Personal issues are likely to get shoved into second place as you enter a very busy period on the work-scene. On the plus side, the financial outlook is excellent, but on the down side, there could be problems with excessive tiredness if you try burning the candle at both ends. Also, emotional aspects niggle away in the background which cannot be dealt with right now. These niggles are generated by the way in which a partner (business, emotional, or both) seems to take you too much for granted, but there is another way of looking at this scenario… Maybe this “taking for granted” business is an indication of the amount of faith and trust they have in you, and you should consider this before reacting in any kind of negative way.
In a few quiet moments of solitude you will find yourself looking backwards, marvelling at the events of the last few years and taking stock of the pathway you have been on. Overall, while no life is ever perfect, you will have to admit that you are in a stronger position today than you thought you might be, when you were looking forwards a few years ago. Please keep this in mind when you bump into an old friend or old flame who reminds you of “the good old days” and sparks some disturbing feelings of nostalgia. You may be wise to recall that some of those “good old days” were really not that good at all, and that some of them were, in fact, bloody awful!
If other people seem to be out of step and out of tune with you, cut them some slack and recognise that they are coming to terms with some of your recent decisions and ideas. Stay calm and avoid confrontations wherever possible. If other people are confusing you at this point in time, it would serve you well to remember that you, in your own way, are also confusing them. A few frank conversations and a bit of straight talking would help a lot, but this comes at a time when you are feeling quiet and contracted and might well prefer to keep your innermost thoughts and feelings to yourself.
Parents may have to deal with issues concerning their kids, and here a very firm hand needs to be taken. I’m not saying that you should come down like Attila the Hun (or Hen) but kids respond well when they know who is the boss and have a clear understanding of what is and is not permissible. If you’re dealing with unruly teens, that’s another matter entirely, but the accent here is more on children who have yet to reach puberty.
Romantic aspects seem to be more or less on hold (which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending upon your present position) but there does seem to be a bit of movement on the job scene which should alleviate one area of tension and frustration.
This should be a very exciting month for most members of the sign, especially those who know what kind of excitement they’re looking for and who are prepared to say “yes” when opportunity comes knocking at the door. Deciphering the code, all things of a romantic and sexual nature are strongly highlighted, and even those more senior members of the sign might find that there is still a good tune to be played on an old fiddle!
Inevitably, there is an element of danger in all of this. For example, if you’re already committed to one relationship, it might be a bit awkward if you go looking for another (or even say “yes” to another when the opportunity is presented.) So do keep this in mind, but if nothing else, enjoy the temptation. It must be said that throughout this ongoing process, your sexual self-confidence gets a big boost and your imagination gets fired up, perhaps for the first time in ages.
Still on a positive note, it should be quite a good month where finances are concerned, but don’t be tempted to overspend on unnecessary luxuries. For example, girls don’t be tempted to buy that new blue dress when you know he likes you in red! Still talking to the ladies out there who might be reading this, and thinking of the immortal words of my grandmother… You’d do well to remember that it’s no good offering a man a muffin when what he wants is crumpet!
You realise that things have changed and are continuing to change, also that you have choices and options that you didn’t know you had – especially in affairs of the heart! You can’t stand still and if you can’t go backwards, there is only one direction, which is forwards. Travel new pathways with confidence and determination and all will be well.
You do have some choices to make, but there is no need to rush into things – rather, take your time and weigh up all the pros and cons. By all means, talk to other people and take their advice into consideration, but by the 19th or 20th it will start becoming very clear that the final decisions are yours and yours alone. They say that pride comes before a fall, but for you, right now, your pride is an important energy source, so in my opinion you should let your pride be your guide.
Although it is still many weeks away, Christmas will be on your mind and should be the topic of more than one conversation. Right now you’re probably not looking forwards to the festive season with very much enthusiasm, but take heart, because situations (and your moods) will change long before you actually get there.
Not an easy month! Some heart to heart conversations about cash, quite a lot of pressure on the work scene, and not a lot of sweetness and light within the home. Sleep patterns could be erratic and your social life is sluggish. Quite a bit of a state, really! You need to do something about all this, and to find a solution, you must think outside the box.
On a much more encouraging note, there will be some surprising news, possibly from an overseas location, which will precipitate plans for an important reunion, at, or just before, Christmas. Someone else’s change of address will have some effect on you, and give you cause to consider your own domestic situation. There are quite a few clouds of claustrophobia surrounding you at this time, and to paraphrase Freddy Mercury “you want to break free!”
We need to talk about health, and while you’re more or less okay (the biggest problem being an ongoing state of tiredness) other peoples’ conditions may well be of some concern. There isn’t much you can do other than trying to be supportive, but it’s difficult to help someone who seems to be unwilling to do anything to help themselves.
Some news, possibly quite startling, from overseas may necessitate a change of plans and priorities, and some of you may find yourself booking flights at the 11th hour. Work routines may be boring and predictable, but at least they’re safe. Partners tend to be volatile when you don’t pay them as much attention as they think they deserve, but there is an element of quid pro quo here, and maybe they need to pay you a bit more attention along the way. For those Aquarians out there who don’t have partners at this time, well, there is a part of me (only a part) which wants to say “lucky you!”
Having said all that, there is likely to be a bit of a sea change in affairs of the heart towards the month’s end. There’ll probably be an argument around the 24th or 25th over something relatively insignificant, but which gets blown out of all proportion. Nevertheless, this is no bad thing, because it brings hidden thoughts and feelings out into the open and does a great deal to clear the air. After this incident, the way ahead looks a lot brighter and noticeably smoother.
Where careers and jobs are concerned you will come to realise that there is no room for a bit of nipping and tucking or any kind of fine tuning, and if you’re looking for change, it will have to be major change right down to the foundations of your working life.
There is an impetus to make a few small, but key changes in your lifestyle. Once you’ve done this (with relative ease), you’ll realise you can do so much more! This is a very creative period for the artistically inclined, and possibly a big chunk of money will be spent or put aside as an investment for your professional future.
There is a fair outlook for all investments, and this may be a period when you fine tune some of your banking practices and look at other options. High risk portfolios can be exciting, but there is a lot to be said for holding on to most of your blue chips. November brings out the entrepreneurial spirit within you, and as such, this should be a great time for launching new work projects and setting up new business deals – even setting up new businesses, full stop!
Travel aspects probably under discussion at this time as you contemplate a journey to a place which has had a seminal role to play in your history, but have not visited for many years. There is an overseas energy here, albeit not “world wide” but more confined to Europe. Nothing really to do with astrology here, but I’ve got a gut hunch which wants to link you with Spain, and in particular, the South of Spain, and a place name which begins with the letter “C”.
