Jane Austen Inspired Regency Garden Party

Step into the world of Jane Austen for an afternoon of Regency elegance at Middlethorpe Hall.

Begin with a Pimm’s cocktail and music from Alec Robinson before joining Head Gardener Andrew Leighton for a leisurely promenade through the gardens, discovering the traditions of the English country house garden.

Lottie, founder of Dance the Past, will then bring the customs and social life of the Regency era to life, followed by a dance workshop where guests can try some of the dances enjoyed during Austen’s time.

The afternoon concludes with Afternoon Tea accompanied by Regency-inspired music, and guests are encouraged to embrace the occasion with full period dress or simply a nod to Regency style.
