A Christmas Carol comes to York’s Joseph Rowntree Theatre

Award-winning company NE Theatre are bringing A Christmas Carol to the stage from the 28th of November to December the 2nd.

On one lonely Christmas Eve, the merciless moneylender Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by three spirits —   The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present, and The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come — who force Scrooge to confront the consequences of his actions.

He is so horrified by the hardship he has caused to the family of his clerk Bob Cratchit, that when Scrooge awakes the next morning he is reborn a new-man, showering everyone around him with gifts of generosity — especially Cratchit.

The combination of Alan Menken’s iconic music alongside a hilarious cast of more than 60 people has produced an insightful take on Charles Dickens’ best-loved story.

NE Theatre are currently offering an exclusive discount on tickets. You will save £13 when you buy a family ticket as it only costs £55 for two adults plus two children— making each ticket only £13.75!
