J G Fielder & Son is a fifth generation family run Funeral Directors, we have been supplying a valuable service to York and the surrounding area for over 100 years. J G Fielder & Son means that help is at hand whenever it is needed, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. The proprietor, Victor Fielder, his son Chris, and their staff give their time and attention to whatever our clients require, continuing the long family tradition.

We are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors and the Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors. A Funeral for a member of your family is the most difficult day of your life. Everything your family and friends ever thought about a loved one is expressed on that day. Whenever someone dies it comes as a great shock, sometimes the death may be expected, but nothing prepares you for the emotional shock of losing someone.
