York Restaurant Week returns to York with an exciting range of deals

York Restaurant Week is set to return next month, and this time the event will last for two weeks from 10-23 March.

This gives diners more opportunity to indulge in deals from over 100 participating restaurants.

The event takes place in March and October and is organised by York Business Improvement District (York BID).

There are a wide range of offers available with prices from £5 to £30.

York consistently shows itself to be a culinary capital of the North. With so many tantalising deals to choose from, here are our top picks for restaurant week.

The Savvy Baker – Coffee and a Cake for £5

The Savvy Baker is located on Swinegate and renowned for their gooey brownies and delicious hot drinks. For £5, enjoy one of their homemade cakes and any hot drink.

Florian Poirot – A Hot Drink, French Dessert, Macaron and Bon Bon for £10

UK Pastry Champion, Florian Poiroit’s patisserie is in the Shambles. Florian uses high quality ingredients to create delicious macarons and French desserts. This offer includes a hot drink, French dessert, macaron and a chocolate bonbon for just £10. The offer is available for dine in only from Saturday to Sunday (10.30am – 4pm).

Dough-Eyed – House Pizza and Soft Drink for £10

Dough-Eyed Pizza serves up delicious wood-fired pizzas, and for £10 you can enjoy a house pizza and soft drink for lunch. Dough-Eyed also has a fantastic range of specials on the menu that change regularly.

Marzano Italian Grill – 3 Course Set Lunch Menu for £20

Marzano Italian Grill on Fossgate is offering a three course set lunch menu for £20. The set menu includes traditional Italian dishes including bruschetta, and various homemade pasta and pizza.

Tabanco by Ambiente – Six Tapas for £25

Tabanco by Ambiente is offering a tapas feast for £25. Experience the taste of rustic tapas from Southern Spain with dishes such as patatas bravas, albondigas (Spanish meatballs), and shrimp and chorizo risotto.
