York Stage brings all the sass and style to the Grand Opera House next month with the smash-hit musical, Kinky Boots. The show follows Charlie Price, a young man from Northern England who, after his father’s death, takes over their struggling family shoemaking business. In an attempt to save the shoe factory, Charlie discovers an unlikely hero in Lola, a drag performer. What results is a funny, big-hearted spectacle full of dancing and singing. Featuring 16 original songs by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, this fabulous show is ready to take to the stage of the Grand Opera House, complete with sparkly boots and a good old boogie.
