From April 5th to April 21st, hop aboard the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a roarsome adventure filled with dinosaur-themed fun! Easter Masterclass at York Chocolate Story

Easter at the Heritage Conservation Farm
This Easter from April 7th to April 21st, Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park in York is hosting a special event focused on heritage farming. Visitors can explore the park’s new Heritage Conservation Farm, which showcases rare breed farm animals and traditional farming practices. Some of the event’s highlights include exploring the world of dung beetles, meeting rare breed lambs and participating in crafts and attending talks about heritage farming and the Rare Breed Survival Trust. On April 19th visit the homegrown and homemade market as local heritage farmers display their produce. After a busy day, visit the playground and Hive Café to relax and refuel.

Pace Egg-Making and Decorating at York Castle Museum
On April 8th and April 19th, visit the Castle Kitchen to see a demonstration of how to make and create Pace Eggs – an old and seasonal tradition in northern England. Watch the team naturally dye the eggs and decorate them in a variety of ways!

Castle Howard – Walled Garden Easter Trail and Baby Lambs!
Enjoy a fantastic family day out at Castle Howard! The House reopens on 18th April revealing the magnificent restored and transformed interior.
