A new scheme dedicated to product and process development and business growth opportunities is now available for local women-led businesses and female entrepreneurs.
Women in business are invited to take part in an exclusive peer-to-peer programme where they will network, exchange ideas, and develop their innovation practices alongside experienced mentors. The University of York —who are running the course— estimate that up to £250 billion would be added to the UK economy if women started and scaled new businesses at the same rate men do. Innovate York aims to change that. Both female entrepreneurs and women-led businesses are invited to join other like-minded individuals to foster innovation.
Participants will be encouraged to share ideas and challenges and support each other to come up with solutions and new ways of working.
