The Yorkshire Motorhome and Campervan Show are setting up camp once more at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate on 28-30 May.
Now in its eighth year, the event would usually take place in March to kickstart the touring season, but has been moved back to fit more comfortably within restrictions.
2021 has seen a huge boom in staycations. With ever-changing travel restrictions and a lack of certainty on overseas trips, there’s never been a more appealing time to own your own motorhome or caravan or head out on a camping staycation.
The show will cater to beginners and veterans alike. For those looking to make their first purchase or move onto another motorhome, there will be lots of dealers catering to a range of price brackets, all in one place.
The show is set to have hundreds of exhibitors, showcasing a whole range of accessories, from motorhome essentials, camping accessories or some outdoor clothing: there will be something for everyone. Bargain hunters will be pleased to know that many of the prices will be exclusive to the show, too.
Another popular part of the show is discovering new gadgets. Often, the actual creators are there on hand giving detailed demos explaining how to get the best out of them.
If you are new to the hobby, you can gain a lot of useful information at the show by talking to industry leaders on their stands, with years and years of experience. Or join a club like The Camping and Caravanning Club, where you’ll meet like-minded people who can pass on valuable knowledge.
