Enrolment is now open for the National Citizen Service (NCS) Summer Programme 2021 for 16 and 17-year-olds based in York and Scarborough.
The programme gives young people the opportunity to get involved in a social action project within their community and make a difference. There will be team-building activities and lots of getting to know other people. Activities will include high wired ropes, zorbing balls and coasteering. As well as this, the programme will hold workshops to develop confidence and self-esteem as well as CV and employability workshops.
Regardless of which programme a young person chooses, they will be involved in fun activities and can expect to be pushed out of their ‘comfort zone.’
There are four options to choose from:
3 WEEK PROGRAMME, 5-23 July
Week one is a residential week in Clitheroe, Lancashire and week two and three take place in York.
