Standing in solidarity

York International Women’s Week runs from 4th – 12th March: its theme ‘Solidarity’ reflects the importance of coming together from all walks of life.  With over 30 events happening around the city or online, almost all free, there’s lots to choose from. Whether swapping clothes, having fun with crafts, enjoying art and performance, listening to lectures or discussing vital issues, there’s a great range. Practical, IT or financial assistance may be available to anyone wanting to join in. This is a community event pulled together by local volunteers.
