If you didn’t already know, RONAN KEATING is coming to the York area and performing a summer concert at Castle Howard. The show’s promoters LPH Concerts & Events and Castle Howard have announced the Wandering Hearts as the supporting act for the summer show on Sunday 4th August 2019. Ronan Keating’s opening act for the summer show is singer/song-writer Katie Kittermaster who will be ready to kick-start the concert this August.
The Wandering Hearts are a Harmony-laden Americana band and became known for their 2018 debut album, Wild Science. The success that came from their album gave them the Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award at the UK Americana Awards. Their popularity also led to a sold-out album tour.
The Wandering Hearts performed in Nashville after being invited to the US by Marty Stuart. They are the first UK band to debut at The Ryman Auditorium and the Grand old Orpy. They performed twice at the Grand Old Orpy as they were invited back the following week after a performance in Memphis at Graceland supporting Marty Stuart. Success with the Nashville crowd also played a part. Their deluxe album contains the live recordings from the show. Their support at the concert this summer supporting Ronan Keating will be huge from their growing popularity and their 2018 success, extending the audience as their support continues to grow.
Mark Harrison, Director at LPH Concerts & Events said: “We have seen a huge demand for tickets since they went on sale and now The Wandering Hearts been added to the line-up. I have no doubt that the last tickets will sell like hot cakes!”
