Purpose of processing any data

We use personal data to supply marketing services. As a telemarketing/advertising business we reserve the right to store the contact details of companies who trade in the geographical area as potential customers. The data has been sourced either from you, your business card or publicly accessible places like your website, facebook or companies house.  You will be contacted with only a legitimate reason taking into account the nature of our business. This right is covered by “The Supply of Design & Marketing Services” as part of the GDPR.

We will also process personal data from readers and members of the public for email marketing purposes. From 25th May 2018 any contact details will only be added to our email marketing database on an opt-in basis. This can either be verbally or electronically agreed. 


Your Rights 

Any email marketing correspondence will include an unsubscribe option and any details will be removed within 30 days should this choose option be chosen.

An alert in writing or email will be sent within 72 hours if there is any significant breach of your data security.

Any details from any email marketing database will be removed within 30 days from the date of any unsubscribe or written request

Anyone has the right to view any data we hold on them, any request to see this must be in writing and will be responded to within 30 days. 

You have the right to correct any out of date information we carry for you. 

We will never sell any contact information onto a 3rd party. 

Data is passed to Mail Chimp for direct marketing purposes, their servers are mainly in the US.  Also, Office 365 is used for process email data, this includes personally identifiable data. Dropbox and OneDrive are also used in the company. The use of any cloud/hosted servers by staff are not authorised by the company.

We will keep your information no longer than necessary to fulfil any contractual agreement if you are a customer and to ensure financial records are legally recorded.
