Enjoy a fun and educational day out at Wildlife Day 2026, a family-friendly event celebrating nature, wildlife and the environment.

The day brings together a wide range of experts and organisations offering hands-on activities, demonstrations and opportunities to learn more about the natural world. For 2026, confirmed contributors include East Yorkshire Bats and Milford Hedgehogs, with more participants to be announced closer to the event.

Activities planned include owl pellet dissection and pond dipping, with popular sessions from previous years such as bug hunts, bird-related activities, bee identification walks and chances to learn about reptiles also expected to return. The event offers plenty to engage curious minds of all ages.

The day can be rounded off with refreshments available from the on-site tea room.
