The much-loved Legendary Easter Eggstravaganza Trail returns to Rowntree Park for another year of relaxed, community-focused Easter fun. This volunteer-run event invites families to explore the park together, searching for hidden clues to help the Easter Bunny solve a mystery.

Children collect a trail sheet and set off around the park to uncover clues. Once the mystery is solved, they can return to meet the bunny and receive a small reward for their hard work. It’s a gentle, nature-led event with a lovely atmosphere — not flashy, just simple outdoor fun. Why not bring a picnic and make a full morning of it? Home-baked cakes and treats are usually available too.

To reduce queuing, advance booking is recommended. Choose a time slot, head to the ‘pre-booked’ table under the café to collect your sheet, and enjoy the trail at your own pace (you don’t have to finish within the 45-minute slot).
