Spring arrives in spectacular colour at Spilmans as the farm launches its very first Tulip Festival. Spread across three acres, more than 250,000 tulips burst into bloom, creating a striking patchwork of colour made up of 50 different varieties, from soft pastels to bold, dramatic tones.

The fields are thoughtfully laid out with wide walkways, allowing visitors to wander at their own pace as different varieties come into flower throughout the season. Early blooms begin the display, with mid- and late-season tulips following on, ensuring there’s always something new to see.

It’s a relaxed day out for all ages, with plenty of opportunities to pause, take photos and soak up the atmosphere. Dedicated photo points are dotted around the site, alongside food and drink including wood-fired pizzas and a bar. On selected days, live music adds to the festival feel. Pre-picked tulip bunches will also be available to buy from the farm shop.
