Jackie Midgley — Art on Canvas

An art demonstration from the Vale of Pickering Art Club.

Here is a bit about Jackie Midgley, who will be leading the demonstration.

"I am a painter, art tutor & workshop leader, I live with my husband & family on a working farm on the outskirts of York. In my early days I trained as a graphic designer but returned to university many years later to study painting. I have always loved and admired a wide and eclectic mix of art but I feel my own work has always been quite moody and gentle in its tone & application. Everything I do has a strong sense of composition and balance, a trait that goes back to my original design background."
