February Half Term: Viking Adventures

Step back into the age of Norse explorers this February half term with a week packed full of Viking-themed fun at Murton Park. Families are invited to explore epic stories, get hands-on with creative crafts and take part in interactive activities inspired by Viking life and legend.

Viking Trail – Daily
Help Thor recover the stolen colours from his outfit after Loki’s mischief. Follow the trail around the park, hunt down the missing colours and complete the picture to claim your prize.

Viking Crafts – Daily
Create your own Viking-inspired fabric design, which you can keep or donate to a very special project. At the end of the week, all donated designs will be stitched together to form a sail for Murton Park’s longboat.

You’ll also have the chance to make:
• A Viking brooch
• A Viking spoon person
• A Viking rune necklace
• A Viking talisman

Gather round and enjoy a Viking tale brought to life each afternoon.
