Opening 15 May 2026, this landmark exhibition debuts the UK’s largest Iron Age metalwork find. Discovered in North Yorkshire in 2021, the display features over 800 artefacts, including horse harnesses, weaponry, and vehicle fragments.

The centrepiece is "The Block," a massive 150kg fusion of ancient materials nearly a meter wide. Through original objects and digital resources, visitors can explore the craftsmanship of the Brigantes tribe and investigate why these lavish items, linked to regions as far as Denmark and the Mediterranean, were destroyed and buried near the power centre of Stanwick.
