When the pressure of GCSE mocks becomes too much, Ruby finds an unusual source of calm: a lock of Britney Spears’ hair. While her friends are initially skeptical,  the strange allure of the hair begins to take hold of the group. One by one, they find themselves drawn to its supposed power, leading to a desperate scramble for a piece of the magic that ultimately threatens to destroy not only the thing they crave but the friendship of the whole group.
