We are a women's morris side, based in York although some of our members travel in from the outlying villages. Acorn Morris was founded in 1977 so we've been around a while. The team is quite varied in experience from those who have been dancing since they were children and those who for some reason have taken it up as adults. Again, some members have been dancing for years, others not so long. We're from a wide range of backgrounds, some international, but the one thing we all have in common is that we enjoy the dancing.

On Wed. evenings you'll find us at York St. John University 8.00-9.15pm -  polishing our dances and learning new ones.

The 2nd Wednesday of each month is an open session for anybody to come & see what it's all about - so why not come along & give it a try.
