What do the stars have in store for you this month?

Someone who has been opposing you and holding you back now gets out of the way and doors that you thought were permanently closed now start creaking open.  This has to be a good thing, but it does put you in a quandary.  What do you do now and where do you go from here? If I were you, I’d follow the money!  If this means re-scheduling some of your mid-term plans (and expectations) it is no small price to pay.  I acknowledge that there might be a bit of soul searching here and an awkward job related decision, so deal with this logically and define your dreams and desires.  In some ways, the men might have a harder time with this than the ladies, but even females of the sign might have to spend some time redefining their priorities. The 7^th-9^th is a positive period for receiving some good news (again in connection with jobs and careers) but there is a bit of domestic tension coming to the surface around the 18^th, 19^th and 20^th when a lover or spouse will not be in harmony with some of your ideas. I suppose that money and aspects related to long term financial stability may be the cause of this tension.

Quite a satisfying month where finances and practical matters are concerned, and it will become apparent that some previous sacrifices have been well worthwhile.  There are lots of new ideas floating around in your head, but not enough time to concentrate on them all, so make a few notes re. future projects, but finish what you’re doing now before starting on anything new. With regard to relationships and affairs of the heart, there doesn’t appear to anything new on the horizon, and those in long term unions may find themselves clashing over domestic issues.  We are talking about “little” things here like who does the washing up and how the beds should be made, but it is an indication of deeper frustrations, and both you and a partner need to work a bit harder at understanding how the other person feels.  It’s all too easy to get locked into one’s own little world and failing to see things from a partner’s point of view.  Little sparks could lead to hot fires, so watch your words and more importantly, be careful how you use them.

A very positive month for patching up old arguments (especially in emotional relationships) and for finding some common ground of compromise and co-operation. The latter half of the month sees some new activity in your social life, and both the 10^th and the 24^th should be red letter days for meeting new people and making new friends. Anything to do with animal welfare will be relevant.At the best (or worst) of times you are a prime candidate for being drawn into other peoples’ problems and there are a couple of periods in July when you’re likely to get roped is as go-between or marriage guidance counselor. The optimum dates for this kind of involvement are the 13^th and 14^th and then again around the 26^th or 27^th.  If you are going to help anyone sort things out, you need to be totally impartial and non-partisan. It’s probably all a storm in a tea cup but others will need your wisdom to see the situation in this light.

Gentlemen of the sign should enjoy some well deserved success and hit targets they’ve been aiming at for many months, maybe even years! The 6^th through till the 10^th is a bright time for professional celebration, and there is almost certainly going to be an element of travel associated with jobs or business during this period. Ladies of the sign have a more moody time of things as they try to unravel a mixed up melange of divided loyalties, with some ongoing battles between their heads and their hearts. Older women may also be struggling with something of an identity crisis, trying to make contact with the girls they once were and shrugging off the shrouds of the matrons they have become. Cancerian females in their teens are likely to make some mistakes and major errors of judgement at this time. All Cancerians should take note of the fact that this is not a good time for taking chances and going with hunches and gut feelings. It is time for some practical and pragmatic common sense to prevail.

A truly lovely month for younger members of the sign when it comes to finding new love and romance, and this is especially true for people suffering with broken hearts and shattered dreams. For older Leos the romantic energy is also strong and there will be talk of engagements and weddings. Some new energy on the job scene between the 10^th and 21^st boosts your moral and provides a bit more mid-term financial confidence.  Having said that, this is a time when finances should be conserved, old bills paid, and if there’s any spare cash after that, shove it in a sock under the bed. Sort of related to that, this may be a good time to review some of your banking practices and if you haven’t been getting the right kind of service, look for a different bank! Pension pots and insurance schemes will also come under scrutiny. This topic is relevant throughout the month but with some action taken during the last week or ten days.

July is a “nose to the grindstone” month!  You’re going to be as busy as hell, probably burning the candle at both ends, and maybe by the end of the month suffering a bit from sleep deprivation. Nevertheless, this sustained effort brings in revenue which enables you to take a couple of steps forward towards your long term aims and ambitions, so it’s got to be worth it! On a slightly negative note there may be an element of tension in domestic relationships, which can be alleviated quite easily, but you’ve got to give voice to your thoughts and feelings rather than let things smoulder beneath the surface.  This situation is exacerbated when an old flame or associate pops up like a bad penny, trying to claim some kind of debt (emotional rather than financial) which you simply do not owe. (Watch for this between the 15^th and the 20^th). Present partners will be both annoyed and suspicious, but whether they actually say anything is a different matter.  Having said that, it will be worth your while to do all you can to put their minds at rest.

A gentle and romantic month in which you may find yourself making long term commitments – and long may they last! Current affairs of the heart counterbalance some aspects of your emotional history and can do much to boost your self confidence and wipe away yesterday’s tears. If someone is whispering loving words in your ear, have faith in them – and have faith in yourself. Older males of the sign may find themselves contemplating new professional directions, while females are also blessed with new job opportunities. Either way, although there might not be any extra cash in the kitty right now, you can start looking ahead to the day when there will be.  We might not be talking about small fortunes here or lottery wins, but by the end of the summer you will clearly see that the tide has begun to turn in your favour.  Certainly enough to make a difference, anyway. It’s mid-summer and we’re in the middle of the holiday season, so no surprise that there are some interesting travel aspects towards the end of the month. Enjoy and bring me back a T shirt.

Sorry, but this could be quite a testing month. Older males with dodgy hearts should not take up dangerous sports, if you’re in the business of buying and selling make sure you sell before you buy, and if you’ve got some bloody awkward decisions to make, don’t bother listening to the advice of other people.  They’re your decisions so you’ve got to make ‘em! Certain Scorpio ladies have the reputation of being somewhat sultry and sexy, but girls, while I wouldn’t want to spoil any of your fun, you need to be a bit careful between the 20^th and the 30^th and keep your flirtatious streak in check.  Words used casually and lightly, either as a tease or a joke, could be taken very seriously by the guy who hears them, and this could lead to a mixture of anger and embarrassment, felt equally by both parties! If this scenario should take place out of the UK in some holiday sun spot, the likelihood of problems is significantly greater. Perhaps it is just a coincidence, but travel aspects are strong in the latter part of the month, especially between – and yes, you’ve guessed it – the 20^th and the 30^th!

Before you start getting depressed about what you have not achieved, just look back over this year and see what you have achieved! The plusses outweigh the minuses 5 to 1, and if you can’t see it, well, other people can, and as such they’re not likely to be over sympathetic towards your dissatisfaction and complaints. On a much brighter note, Sagittarian parents should be well pleased with the progress of their children, especially adult children, and it will be interesting to see how their futures affect your own, especially when we look to the mid and long term, and consider places of residence.  Any overseas links are likely to get stronger in the time ahead and intercontinental journeys may become increasingly frequent. Some expensive new acquisition falls into place by month’s end when money comes to you.  This will be from an expected source so you can enjoy spending it (in your mind) long before you actually get your hands on it. Hey, lucky you!

A busy, and possibly quite fraught period on the work scene, but don’t panic!  Help is at hand from a man in some position of power and authority who brings reassurance and promises of better times to come. Nevertheless, it might be an interesting exercise to explore other career options at this time… you know – just in case! Despite last month’s optimistic outlook, there may be a few hiccups in affairs of the heart, partially (only partially) caused by the stubborn streak within you which is the curse of all Capricorns, and especially female members of the sign.  In all relationships there has to be some give and take, but someone else’s grumpy moods and intransigence may cause you to dig in your heels and go a little OTT in retaliation. Take a big breath and try and create some more personal space for both yourself and a partner. Where social aspects are concerned you have probably become rather insular over the last few years, and putting it bluntly, you need to get out more.  Join a club, find a hobby, take up painting or become a nudist… Anything will do as long as it breaks traditional routines.

Looks like there could be some new acquisition in July… house, car, promotion etc., any of which should make this a memorable month! There will also be some very good news on the job scene, either on the 3^rd or the 10^th – or both! Gentlemen of the sign might feel a bit held back by their spouses, in which case, guys, you know what you’ve gotta do!  At this point you may well say “Er… no. What?”  I can’t give you a precise answer except to point out that you are not just a man, a husband, a lover and a provider, you are also a person in your own right and you are entitled to your own opinions and priorities, and other people need to be made to understand this.  So to any ladies out there who have an Aquarian husband, I would say handle with care! July is a month in which Aquarian parents should come to feel justifiably proud of the achievements of their children, especially, dare I say it, male children.  All children should be equal, but of course we all know they are not.

An argument with a friend or colleague of the same sex might leave a nasty taste in your mouth, but it makes you even more determined to stand up for your rights. They say that pride comes before a fall, but at this time you need to allow your pride to be your guide, and have faith in an attractive member of the opposite sex who is definitely on your side! At the best of times Piscesians are not the most confident people when it comes to dealings with the opposite sex, but your task at this time is made relatively easy as someone close to you makes all the running in an attempt to get a hell of a lot closer.  To ignore these opportunities would be (in my opinion) be very silly and it would be a folly to look a gift horse in the mouth.  Therefore, if there are social invitations on the 16^th, 17^th and the 23^rd and 24^th it would be very much to your advantage to say yes.  In fact, I would just say “yes” to everything which is on offer at this time.
