It all begins at Beningbrough

February half-term is looming closer and you might be wondering just how to spend it.

If you want to take the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air with the fam, Beningbrough Hall Gardens is the perfect place to begin your half term holidays and take a stroll. Open every day for the upcoming school holidays, there will be plenty to see and do in the gardens this month. A bed of over 200,000 snowdrops will be starting to surface, winter aconite can also be seen under giant trees, and the Iris reticulata is starting to open in the pear arch borders too.

The garden is also a fantastic spot for kids to climb trees and do a bit of wildlife watching too. And, for the curious little adventurers amongst your brood, the wilderness play area is also fabulous for passing the time.

The garden, restaurant, and shop at Beningbrough are open daily 10am – 3.30pm between the 11th and 19th of February. Beningbrough Hall itself remains closed until the summer due to the completion of a £2.3 million infrastructure project.
