A sold-out, star-studded fundraising dinner will be held at the beautiful stately home, Carlton Towers this October. The charity to benefit will be the Snappy Trust, which is dedicated to maximising the personal development of children and young adults with wide-ranging disabilities, and a percentage of the funds received from the evening will also go towards Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The organiser and Patron of the charity is David Brown BEM, recognised by Queen Elizabeth II in 2021 for his fundraising and work for the York community. Times are tough just now, so he is reaching out to anyone who might be able to donate a raffle prize or an auction lot. So if you’re an organisation that might be able to spare anything from a voucher to a spanking new car, please get in touch. The deadline for donations is the 15th of September.
