Conservation Heroes
Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park, 10am – 5pm.
Through a range of exciting trails, exhibits and tasks visitors become Conservations Heroes! Those who complete all four tasks receive their own certificate. There will be plenty more going on with talks, demonstrations, crafts, activities and trails, all included in the standard admission rate. Children go free with a paying adult! Be an undercover discoverer
Beningbrough Hall, Gallery and Gardens, 10am – 3:30pm
Grab your winter warmers and maybe a pair of wellies for this free nature trail around the beautiful grounds of Beningbrough Hall. Curious Takeover!
York Art Gallery, 11am – 4pm.
Try out colourful arts and crafts with Curious Arts. Celebrating families of all shapes and sizes in celebration of LGBT History Month. Superworm Trail
Dalby Forest, Thornton-Le-Dale.
Brightly illustrated panels and a pack full of fun activities will keep the little ones entertained through this new self-led trail discovering the small but mighty creatures from the much-loved Julia Donalson story, Superworm. Trail activity packs are available to purchase from the Visitor Centre and cost £3.50. The trail is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. For more information, click here.
