BOOST: York businesses invited to apply for free practical marketing support

Are you the owner of a visitor-facing business in York or North Yorkshire? Have you been looking for new ways to expand your reach, attract visitors out of season, and gain effective, practical marketing skills? Running from September 2025 to March 2026, the BOOST programme could be exactly what your business needs!

Aimed at all manner of visitor-facing tourism and hospitality businesses in the region (including visitor attractions, activity and experience providers, accommodation providers and creative, retail, and food and drink operators), BOOST is a free programme that’s funded by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, under the umbrella of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Providing practical and meaningful marketing support, BOOST offers businesses an array of options they can use to up their game, including in-person workshops, remote Zoom workshops, and group coaching. This in-depth practical support is designed to help local businesses to improve presence and engagement on social media, encourage direct bookings, implement effective mailings, and increase customer footfall, all year round!
