A recent National project, A Warm Place is offering up venues free of charge to provide comfortable refuge for anyone who is struggling to heat their home this winter.
As part of this initiative, Explore York is offering welcoming spaces within 15 libraries across the city of York. From board games to book groups, each library offers fun and free activities for all ages. Extra facilities include the use of computers and printers, tech support, free wifi, and low-cost hot meals at the Explore Reading Cafés.
Additional to the library spaces with Explore York, Live Well York also offers a directory of Warm Places in York, venues which offer seating and facilities with no requirement to buy anything.
