Pop-punk legends, emo favourites and hardcore heavyweights head to Leeds this May.
Slam Dunk Festival returns to Leeds this May for its massive 20th anniversary edition, bringing one of its biggest and most nostalgic line-ups yet to Temple Newsam on Sunday 24 May.
Over the past two decades, Slam Dunk has grown into one of the UK’s most-loved alternative festivals, combining pop-punk, emo, hardcore and metalcore across multiple stages packed with both legendary names and rising talent.
This year’s headline acts include Good Charlotte, returning to the UK with a set full of era-defining anthems, while Taking Back Sunday are set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Louder Now with what promises to be one of the weekend’s standout performances.

One of the most talked-about appearances this year comes from Sublime, who are back and making a hugely anticipated UK festival appearance. Fans can also expect huge energy from ska-punk favourites Goldfinger, while British heavyweights Bury Tomorrow look certain to deliver one of the festival’s loudest sets.
Elsewhere, pop-punk veterans Allister add another welcome dose of nostalgia to a line-up stacked from top to bottom taking us right back to the Scuzz TV days.
Beyond the music, Slam Dunk’s popular Leeds afterparty takeover returns for 2026, with venues across the city hosting club nights and DJ sets long after the final bands leave the stage. Festival organisers have also expanded shuttle bus services from Leeds city centre, helping fans travel easily between the festival and the city throughout the day.
With the countdown now firmly underway, Slam Dunk North 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest alternative music events of the summer.
