This powerful and thought-provoking one-man play by Mohit Mathur follows Uday Kumar, a call centre worker in New Delhi who dreams of a better life in Britain. Fuelled by ambition and fantasy, he leaves everything behind to pursue a new future—only to be confronted by the harsh realities of life in the UK.
Blending humour with deeply moving storytelling, the production explores identity, migration and the often unseen struggles within the UK care sector, asking why so many young men arrive full of hope, only to disappear without a trace.
A compelling debut from an exciting new playwright and West End performer, created in collaboration with one of the UK’s most experienced theatre makers.
