Young children are invited to take their first steps onto the stage with York Theatre Royal’s popular youth theatre, where the focus is on building confidence and making new friends through the joy of performance.

This term, the 5–8-year-old group will engage in play-based learning to develop core drama techniques in a fun and creative environment. Drawing inspiration from the whimsical world of Roald Dahl, the sessions will explore themes from his most beloved stories to coincide with an exciting group trip to see The Enormous Crocodile. It is a wonderful opportunity for little ones to grow their creativity and discover the magic of storytelling while developing essential social and performance skills.
