Young performers aged 11 to 14 are invited to build confidence and develop professional drama skills through an ambitious summer production project in partnership with York Castle Museum.

This season, the group will bring to life Forward to Victory by Rachel Barnett, a moving promenade theatre piece set in 1917 that immerses audiences in an atmospheric historical narrative. Participants will have the rare opportunity to perform inside the heritage setting of the Castle Museum this July, creating a truly unique theatrical experience.

Due to the exciting scale of this project, the term includes a small number of additional rehearsals to ensure a high-quality performance. This production is a special remount of the acclaimed 2017 staging, and interested families can view a documentary online to learn more about the story's impact.
