Young creatives are invited to build confidence and develop essential drama skills in a fun, supportive environment with York Theatre Royal’s popular youth theatre.

This term, the 8 - 11-year-old group focuses on skills-based learning, using the whimsical world of Roald Dahl as their creative inspiration. In anticipation of an exciting group trip to see The Enormous Crocodile, these weekly sessions will dive into Dahl’s iconic stories to explore core performance techniques.

It is the perfect opportunity for children to make new friends, grow their creativity, and experience the magic of the stage firsthand.
