Residents are invited to take part in the Haxby & Wigginton Open Gardens weekend, celebrating local gardening talent and community spirit. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting your hands dirty for the first time, everyone is welcome to join in — no matter the size of your garden.

Participants can enter a variety of categories including Best Standard Garden, Best Water Feature, Best Small Garden, Best Eco-Garden, Best Overall, Children’s/School/Pre-School Garden, Best Care Facility Garden and Best Window Box, Pot or Hanging Basket.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your garden, share ideas and inspire others across the community.
