Coming up with ideas and entertainment for all the family during half terms and bank holidays can be hard, especially now with costs rising and budgeting needing to be a priority. You’re probably thinking, not another bank holiday. At this point, you might be struggling for ideas to keep the family occupied since we have just come from a half term.
So we’ve comprised a list of budget-friendly activities to do over this bank holiday weekend, that you might not know about. With the weather this weekend looking promising, some of these activities will transport your young ones into the great outdoors and enjoy being at one with nature.
Situated just a stone’s throw away from the Railway Station, the museum offers a free experience to all including a miniature railway, outdoor and indoor play area, and a chance to rub shoulders with some of the greatest trains.
