Visitors can expect 10 days of funfair, food and entertainment across the Jubilee weekend at York Knavesmire.
Live music will get everyone in the spirit with popular local bands Huge, Y Street Band, as well as DJ sets and more. ‘Just Josh’ a popular family-friendly York entertainer will take place on the stage combining magic, juggling, balloonology and disco!
Over 40 stalls will host a range of artisan food, drinks, street food, crafts and gifts across the Clocktower Enclosure. More than 15 vintage funfair rides will be running at this fun family-friendly day out.
York Spring Fair will run across the May/June Half Term with extra special events happening on Thursday 2nd June with the lighting of York’s beacon as part of the UK-wide lighting of Platinum Jubilee Beacons and Sunday 5th June will host a Big Jubilee Lunch event to celebrate the momentous occasion.
Tickets are available to purchase now and the event runs from Friday 27th May to Sunday 5th. Admission starts from £5 for adults and children under 12 are free this includes daily entertainment and live music evenings. Tokens for funfair rides and games are £3 per ride.
